The Sarpy County Historical Society is beginning an important phase of collections evaluation as we prepare to leave our current building and plan for a future Legacy Center.
We are forming a Collections Task Force to help inventory, document, and thoughtfully evaluate objects in our care.
We are seeking volunteers who are:
• Detail-oriented
• Respectful of history
• Comfortable with documentation
• Available for scheduled work sessions
This project is about ensuring that Sarpy County’s most meaningful stories are preserved responsibly for generations to come.
